This Privacy Policy explains how Tuner (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Tuner mobile application (the “App”), published by Yacine Kahlis. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Device identifier: a random ID the App creates the first time it runs and keeps in your device's secure storage (the iOS Keychain), so it stays the same if you delete and reinstall the App. It is not tied to your name, email or Apple ID. The App has no accounts and never asks who you are.
Photos you submit: the car photos (and optional reference photos) you choose to transform. They are sent to our server and to our AI provider to generate your image. We do not store your original photos.
Your first build: the App lets every device make one build during setup. To make sure it is used only once, and to give it back to you if you reinstall the App, we keep on our server the generated image of that first build, the mods and colour you picked, and the date, linked to your device identifier.
Generation records: the date of each generation and your plan type, linked to your device identifier, so we can apply each plan's generation allowance and fair-use limits.
Purchase status: your subscription entitlement and generation-credit balance, processed by the App Store and our subscription provider.
Usage data and session recordings: which screens you open and which actions you take in the App (for example starting a build or viewing the plans), your device model, OS version, app version and language, linked to your device identifier. We also record in-app sessions as a sequence of screenshots of the App's screens, which can include your photos and generated images; text you type is masked and is not recorded. We use this only to understand how the App is used and to fix problems.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the App's features: generating AI transformations of your car photos, giving you your first build and restoring it after a reinstall, managing your subscription and generation allowance, and improving the App. Your Garage (the history of your builds) is stored on your device. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted service providers to operate the App: cloud hosting for our server and database, payment and subscription processing, AI services that generate your images from the photos you submit, and product analytics. These providers process data only on our behalf and only as needed to deliver their service.
Data retention and deletion
Your Garage lives on your device; deleting the App deletes it.
The image of your first build is kept on our server for up to 12 months, then deleted.
The record that your device already used its first build (device identifier and date, without the image) is kept for up to 3 years.
Photos you submit are not kept once your image is generated.
You can ask us to delete the data linked to your device identifier at any time by emailing us. Because the App has no accounts, we will reply with what we need to find your data.
Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, reach out using the contact details below.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
