Punch Clock (“the app”) is a boxing round timer for iOS, published by Yacine Kahlis. This policy explains what information the app handles. The short version: the app has no accounts, no backend, and we do not collect, store, or sell your personal data.
Your presets, settings, and Pro unlock status are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us. Deleting the app deletes this data.
If you enable voice control, the app uses your device's microphone and Apple's speech recognition to listen for short commands (such as “pause”, “go”, “skip”) during workouts. Audio is processed for command detection only. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio. Depending on your device and iOS settings, Apple may process speech on-device or on Apple servers as described in Apple's privacy policy. Voice control is off by default and requires your explicit permission.
Coach callouts are generated with the speech synthesis voices installed on your device. No data leaves your device for this feature.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices. On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission; if you decline, ads are served in non-personalized mode. Purchasing Punch Clock Pro removes all ads.
The one-time Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs and does not track your workouts.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
