These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PCOS Ally mobile application (the “App”), published by Yacine Kahlis. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Not medical advice. PCOS Ally is a tracking and educational tool. It keeps the records you create and shows general, evidence-graded information about polycystic ovary syndrome. It does not diagnose PCOS or any other condition, does not determine your phenotype (you declare what your clinician told you), and does not recommend medications, supplements, doses, or treatments. Nothing in the App replaces the advice of a licensed healthcare professional. If you have not had a period for three months or more, or if you are worried about any symptom, talk to your clinician.
You must be at least 18 years old to use PCOS Ally. You are responsible for the information you enter and for any decision you make based on it. The App is designed for people living with or investigating PCOS; it is not intended for use in emergencies.
Lessons, recipes, workouts, insights and the doctor summary are general information built from published research and from the data you enter. They are labelled with an evidence level where possible, but they are not tailored medical guidance and may not apply to your situation. Insights and predictions (such as an expected period) are derived entirely from your inputs; a missing or wrong input produces a wrong output. We make no guarantee that any content is accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose.
Everything you log is stored locally on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining your own device backups; we cannot recover data that is lost when a device is lost, reset, or the App is deleted.
You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.
The App, including its design, artwork, mascot, lessons, recipes, and code, is owned by Yacine Kahlis and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on your Apple devices; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including damages related to health decisions made in reliance on its content, records, insights, or reminders, or for any indirect or consequential damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the App at any time; deleting it from your device removes your local data.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
