Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PCOS Ally (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use the PCOS Ally mobile application (the “App”), published by Yacine Kahlis. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

The short version: PCOS Ally is local-first. Everything you log — symptoms, mood, sleep, cycle, water, weight, plates, habits, lab results, notes — is stored on your device and never sent to us. There is no account, no analytics, no ads, and we could not sell your health data even if we wanted to, because we never receive it.

Information stored on your device only

What we do not access

Information processed by third parties

Backups

Because your data lives on your device, it may be included in the device backups you configure with Apple (iCloud or local backups). Those backups are managed and encrypted by Apple under your Apple account; we have no access to them.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Removing an entry in the App deletes it immediately, and deleting the App removes all locally stored data. To ask RevenueCat to delete the anonymous identifier linked to your purchases, contact us and we will pass the request along.

Your rights

Depending on your region (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Since your data is on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the App. For anything else, contact us below.

Children

The App is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
